THE EVERGREEN CULTURAL CENTRE is a not-for-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and has been open since October 1996. Our mission is to be known as the choice cultural destination by providing the community with engaging, quality entertainment, exhibitions and arts programs in a welcoming.environment.
Without the help of our 200+ enthusiastic volunteers, we could not present the programs and performances that enhance the artistic life of our community.
THE BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING AT EVERGREEN:
- Earn FREE TICKETS with our Volunteer Points Program!
- Receive a 10% discount at the gift shop
- On the spot recognition and awards for outstanding service
- After 100 hours, volunteers receive a permanent name tag
- After 500 hours, names of volunteers are displayed on the recognition board in the main lobby.
- Volunteers are invited to two appreciation functions each year: a summer barbecue and a winter holiday gathering.
- All volunteer time contributed is recorded and can be used toward school credits or
job experience.
- Volunteers also receive Evergreen newsletters as well as the latest news
about performances, gallery exhibits and workshops.

Starting January 1, 2010 your hours can earn you credit towards complimentary tickets to Evergreen evnets!
Front-of-House Positions (Usher, Coat Check, Gallery Greeter)
1 Hour = 1 Point
Attendant Positions (Daytime Gallery, Gift Shop, Admin Office)
1 Hour = 2 Points
Customer Service Positions (Concession, Bar Cash, Workshop Assistant)
1 Hour = 3 Points
