 TEENS @ EVERGREEN and
TEENS @ EVERGREEN THEATRE ENSEMBLE (TETE)
The hard work of these two creative groups culminated in projects that were showcased at the Emerging Talent Festival, a multi-disciplinary artistic event in celebration of Evergreen's 15th anniversary season and the annual Emerging Talent XV exhibition.
THE PROJECTS
Teens @ Evergreen have been working with documentary filmmaker mentor Pia Yona Massie on two short films, conducting interviews, as well as following local punk band, The Best Revenge. Both docs premiered in the Studio Theatre as part of the Festival.
The TETE group, who meet twice a week, are polishing their acting skills. Under the direction of Michael Charrois, they continue to explore physical theatre, circus arts, mimie and clowning and with Mandy Tulloch, the group is working on comedic monologues. The Theatre Ensemble performed to a packed theatre at the first annual Emerging Talent Festival.
