Judith M Atkinson
Judith is a professional Artist with an extensive exhibition record, studio practice and experience working in the community and as a Fine Art Instructor with The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, Langara College, and Learning Through the Arts and all School Districts and; as an Artist in Residence, for the Vancouver Parks Board and the Vancouver and North Vancouver School Boards. As a Mural Artist, she has created 12 large murals working with children, schools and communities. Judith is an Honours graduate of Emily Carr University of Art & Design, and studied at the Banff School of Fine Arts, Capilano College and with ECUAD in Florence, Italy.
Michael Charrois
Michael is a professional actor (Canadian Actor's Equity Asso, ACTRA, UBCP) and drama teacher, and recently married his long time sweet heart. He has over 25 years of business experience as a self-employed contractor and 21 years of experience teaching drama to kids and adults. He studied acting, playwriting and directing at the University of Alberta and the Banff School of Fine Arts. Michael has taught for the City of Surrey, Vancouver School Board, the Edmonton International Fringe Festival and 10 years at the Stage Polaris Academy of Drama in Edmonton. As an actor, Michael has performed in hundreds of productions on stage, screen, radio and the street, and over a dozen of his plays have been produced. He has served as the President of the Edmonton branch of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA).
Mandy Tulloch
Mandy studied Acting/Dance/Production at the Barbara Speakes Stage School in London England along with Dance at George Brown College. A Professional Actor (Equity/ACTRA/UBCP/British Equity) Mandy has appeared in over a hundred commercials world wide, had both Lead and Principal status in many TV/Film productions as well as musical theatre, pantomime and drama on stage in both England and Canada. “Having had the training from a very young age, I am thrilled to be able to pass some of this along to the children I teach, I truly understand what the are thinking and feeling having been there myself!” Mandy runs her own acting school, ABC Let's Act, which has produced the award-winning children's plays Cinderellas (one through three), and is an Odyssey of the Mind coach.
Pia Yona Massie
Pia Massie is a teacher and multi-media artist whose work has been exhibited in festivals, museums and galleries throughout North America and Europe, including The Museum of Modern Art, NYC; Musée Cantonal des Beaux Arts, Lausanne; and the grunt gallery in Vancouver, B.C. Massie’s work has received multiple awards, including the American Film Institute’s Independent Filmmakers award (LA), Prix St. Gervais (Geneva), and Prix de l’Institut de Design de Montréal. Massie’s projects have been funded by grants from the Canada Council, BC Arts Council, and the National Film Board, among others. Pia Massie’s teaching career spans work with universities, elementary schools and community programs. Massie has taught film at the following institutions in Vancouver: Pull Focus, Simon Fraser University, Gulf Islands Film and Television School, Pacific Cinematheque and in the States at: Bennington College and Parsons MFA Design & Technology program. In addition Massie has contributed to arts and education based non-profits for many years in a broad variety of roles, including Kitchen Summer Institute Director (NYC), think tank participant for the MacArthur Foundation awards, and currently volunteer media archivist for the David Suzuki Foundation.
