Landscape paintings are vibrant and magnificent; they communicate a feeling for the energy and power of the universe. The dominant theme in my work is the relationship with nature and the environment where I live--Yin and Yang, polar opposites. As I express myself with signs and symbols on the canvas, I try to employ effects of positive and negative in my work.
It is important for me to show these differences, no matter how subtle or obvious, in the environment that we live in, for it is the unity of nature and environment that truly make a painting complete.
