Often, I am immersed in the mystery of the cycle of life by feeling rapport with nature. Our daily activities, such as walking through the woods or watering the flowerbeds, places us in an inseparable relationship with all that is around us.
Nature is full of energy and the providence of the universe breaths within it. The amazing cycle of spawning salmon or the color and blossoms of flower beds from spring to fall invite our reflection. Even the busy work of butterflies speaks to the energy of a new cycle of birth and death.
Understanding the cycle of life can comfort the soul and teach deep truths. In my painting I strive to depict the powerful vitality and sublime spirit of nature. I am part of this cycle and express the truths I see.
