I have always turned or looked to the landscape for solace, inspiration and visual comfort. I find in the natural world a sense of presence and kinship that is interrelated and connected and also a profound spiritual awareness and a point of reflection.
Sometimes, I can't get to the studio to create and engage, nor hike in the forest for comfort and renewal, so I just stand and look and revel, finding visual solace in the masterpieces of colour and light created in the sky.
